Branch Meeting – Jan 2013
January Branch Meeting – This month’s meeting will be held at the First Coast Rehab
Center located at the University of St. Augustine at 6PM on Thursday, January 19. Light
hors d’oeuvres will be served. The program will consist of three members of the First
Coast Rehab who are also faculty members of the University. In this one hour session,
they will talk and show some interesting exercises that you can do at home for fall
prevention and better balance. They also will talk about concerns of women our age and
where we can help each other as well as talking in depth about things that we should know
before calling our physicians. If you are not familiar with First Coast Rehab,
Dr. Staborough will give us a brief tour of the equipment and what all they can do to be of
assistance. Dr. Grant and the rest of the team will be happy to answer any questions you
may have. The address for this location is 1 University Blvd. Take SR312 East from
US1 and turn right on Sgt. Tutten Drive. Turn left at the first street and then right at the
end of the street. Follow First Coast Rehab signs. Parking will be available close to the
building (handicap included). We will have our AAUW sign outside the front door so that
