AAUW St Augustine Started St Johns County Library System

Kristi Pierce, Branch President, speaks at St Johns County Library System event recognizing AAUW’s contributions to the library.  On display is a portrait of Alberta “Bert” Rattray, an AAUW member and librarian.  A batik painting of member Jean Luoma reading to children was also on display.

AAUW’s Cathie Altman presents Beth Maycumber of the Main Library, St Johns County Public Library System with Kimble Medley’s book, ‘Suffrage, Women & Untold Stories,’ which tells the story of Alice Scott Abbott, a suffragist from Flagler County and her speeches in St Augustine.
